BMPRS - Model Power Boat Racing at its BEST. We pride ourselves in allowing all (young / old / novice / expert) to enjoy this fantastic hobby within a safe and friendly environment. For most members its all about banter, getting boats wet and enjoying great days out racing on inland waters. Some take the racing seriously, (though few will admit to it!) Membership is very reasonable and existing members are always keen to welcome new faces with help and advice. Hope to see you at the lakeside soon!  Garry (BMPRS Web Editor)

Sorry to report some very sad news..

Carol Holder (Pictured below)  passed away peacefully on Saturday 7th April following her brave battle with illness. (Bernard has said please feel free to give him a bell at any time.)

Carol has played a big part in supporting her husband Bernard over many years in the world of model power boat racing in so many ways and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Bernard would like to offer his sincere thanks to colleagues, friends and club members for their support, cards of condolence etc,  during this very difficult time. We all offer our heart felt and deepest sympathies to Bernard and his family.

Carol’s funeral is on Monday 30th April 2018 at 1.45pm at the Westerleigh Crematorium. (Please note that the funeral car will call at Bernards house at 12.45pm so people can follow the car from then.)

Testing at Trafford on 15.04.18 with Prestwich Mercury Hull powered by a stock Prestwich TK 26 engine.  These engines certainly pack a massive power /£!! IMPRESSED!
