Robin Butler for assisting, manning race control and running races.

Sue Butler and Sally for lap counting.

Rescue crew including Kingsbury members Pat, Steve and Michael who sat it out in really dreadful conditions.

Every one who turned up in spite of the temptation to call event off!!!!

Malcolm for sub letting his tent to me and others BIG THANKS!!!

RACE INFO SUMMARY

The rain came just after race start and continued all day, at times torrential.

This did not stop us all having a fabulous day out once again at the superb Kingsbury venue, which is ideal for powerboat racing.

Some tight racing, combined with some quality driving  ensured decent lap times with great fun and banter as always. It is great to see the weed problem which stopped us racing here last year, now being resolved!

Malcolm added a new award for this event which was gratefully received by Graham Stanley for the “BEST CRASH OF THE DAY”!!!!!!! Graham’s cat lost another life when the sponsons were once again “”scuffed”” when it throttled into the bank! We all wish Graham better luck next time out wiith this great new boat.
